Artistic Director, Ballet Instructor
Regina Pietraroia is a Cleveland native, where she grew up training at local studios. She went on to train at Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana, and after college spent several years dancing and teaching in the San Francisco Bay Area. After returning to Cleveland, Regina performed professionally with Ohio Dance Theatre in a variety of classical and contemporary ballets, including The Nutcracker, Cinderella, Dracula, The Firebird, and many more. Regina continues to perform throughout Northeast Ohio: most recently she has appeared with Neos Dance Theatre, Cleveland Dance Exchange, Olmsted Performing Arts, and City Ballet of Cleveland.
Regina holds a Bachelor’s in Secondary Education, a Masters in Arts Administration, and has attended the National Dance Institute’s Teaching Artist Training with Jacques d’Amboise in New York City. Her extensive teaching experience includes the Berkeley Ballet Theatre, The University of Akron, the American College Dance Festival conference, and many private studios in Ohio and California. She has previously served as company assistant for City Ballet of Cleveland, and School and Outreach Director for Ohio Dance Theatre. She enjoys sharing her passion for dance with students of all ages, and challenging them to be their physical and intellectual best in each class. She is thrilled to be working for Great Lakes Youth Ballet!
Ethan Michael Lee
Technique and Partnering
Ethan Michael Lee is from Canton, Ohio where he trained at Canton Ballet for 10 years under the artistic direction of Cassandra Crowley. He currently is the artistic director of A Time to Dance Junior Company at A Time to Dance in North Canton. He has produced and directed a full length ballet, Aladdin the Ballet in 2015, along with many concert style ballets. Ethan dances with Neos Dance Theatre in Mansfield, Ohio, dancing roles in Snow White, Dracula, and various Contemporary ballets choreographed by Bobby Wesner. Ethan has judged scholarship auditions for Dance Masters of Ohio in 2015. He has studied at Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, Chautauqua New York, and Joffrey Ballet. Ethan has performed many lead roles for companies around the area including Erie Dance Conservatory, Dance Takes Flight, Zanesville Ohio, and Wayne Center for the Arts.
